Here's my new top five list and this time with some best horror movies from Korean. I decide to chose five because they're isn't that much I could find that my kind of taste eventhough they are some of them that are good but they are some that are really bad, So we're only gonna focus on the positives. Once again, I chose five because they're isn't that much I could that my kind of taste for this list but after a bit of research, they're a few good ones. So without futher undo, let's right into it and ik it's hard to please many people and don't hate on this list because this is just my opinion.
1. I Saw the Devil (2010)- this movie is the best simply because it's got the guy that I remembered him as Storm Shadow from the first two gi joe movies. It's more of a thriller than being horror but I doesn't mean that it's truely horror and of course being messed up and disturbing. I haven't seen it but ik from some people the film is beyond violent. The ending on the other hand is different from the international and the Korean original version and that is the music because in the international version, there is no music at all and you can hear the character's cries and in the original version, there is metal music playing and it's pretty interesting seeing the comparison side by side. That's why it's in the top spot because of the film is so violent.
2. The Host (2006)- this movie is awesome eventhough I haven't seen it but I heard things about it. It's like someone use things like the inspiration from Godzilla and then this movie is yet a different of the creature feature genre. it also won several awards which is insane.
3. Train to Busan (2016)- dang this film is insane and it also became a cult classic. I'm not a fan of zombie movies but, this movie is one of the most grossing Korean horror films of all time and it's more adventure horror. In 2016, they are some talks to do an american remake as well as a sequel for this movie.
4. The Wailing (2016)- This movie is considered a huge success but they're isn't that much I can say about it but this movie has won several awards and with this, it won up to 29, which is insane. In 2017, a UK film company are in talks to remake it.
5. Thrist (2009)- I'm not a fan of this but it is considered to be one of the most beautiful vampire movies in korean ever made. If you also didn't know that title is also translated to "Bat" this movie has a few different themes with passion and a love triangle. This also received favorable reviews and won an award and was also nominated for several awards.
